Get your stuff fixed for FREE at our next Dare to Repair Cafe on Saturday, November 19th at 11AM at Frank E. Merriweather, Jr. Branch Library.
What is a Dare to Repair Cafe you might ask? It’s a popup community event where you can bring a broken item and work with a team of fixers to try and repair the item for FREE!
The Dare to Repair crew is back in action this Saturday fixing your stuff FOR FREE and teaching you how!
Details for the event are as follows:
- Location: Frank E. Merriweather, Jr. Branch Library – 1324 Jefferson Ave, Buffalo, NY 14208 (https://goo.gl/maps/2FbsM9KzHfENRA8n8)
- Date: Saturday, November 19th
- Time: 11am – 2pm
We’ll have fixers on-hand to help with repairs such as:
- Small appliances
- Lamps
- Vacuums
- Small electronics
- Bikes
- Clothing and textiles
Our goal is to share repair skills, save money, and keep things in circulation and out of the landfill for as long as possible.
We’re asking all participants to register for the event ahead of time so we can get an estimated headcount and gauge what sort of items people will be bringing.
We look forward to seeing you there!
